FAQs

  • It depends on what you need. Some clients engage us for light consultations, typically 2 to 5 hours of strategic guidance or feedback on a specific issue. Others bring us in for focused deliverables - like a Social Network Analysis or Strategic Planning Workshop - which usually take 1 to 3 weeks to complete. Full-scale engagements, such as organizational design, target operating models, or employee listening architecture, typically run 6 to 10 weeks and follow a structured process from discovery through delivery. For clients looking for ongoing partnership, we offer quarterly retainers starting at 10 hours per month, scoped in 3-, 6-, or 12-month contracts to provide flexible support over time. If you’re not sure what format fits best, we’ll talk it through and design an approach that works for you.

  • We offer two pricing models: hourly and fixed-fee. Most of our consulting engagements fall into the hourly category, with rates ranging from $375 to $525 per hour depending on the depth of expertise required.

For larger projects like organizational design, operating model development, or employee listening architecture, we offer fixed-fee pricing based on a clear week-by-week plan of deliverables. These projects have custom pricing depending on the level of effort and complexity.

We also offer retainers for clients who want ongoing access to strategic support, with monthly rates based on hours and involvement level. In all cases, we’re transparent about how pricing aligns to scope. Once we understand what you’re trying to solve, we’ll send a tailored proposal that outlines activities, estimated hours, and deliverables, so you know exactly what to expect.

Tool costs (like survey platforms) or other third-party services are always passed through at cost and clearly listed in your proposal.

  • We work with organizations of all sizes. We've partnered closely with small wealth management teams or nonprofit boards that have just 3–5 people. We also have experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives for Fortune 500 companies. What matters most is that we’re working with decision-makers who are ready to drive change.

  • Definitely. We often work alongside internal HR, strategy, or transformation teams - not to replace them, but to provide additional expertise, frameworks, and capacity. Our goal is to complement your internal capabilities and help accelerate your success.

  • We start by listening. We’ll talk with you - and anyone else you'd like to include - to understand your goals, challenges, and what’s already been done. That context shapes every recommendation we make, so it fits your organization and actually works in practice.

  • Your data security is critically important to us. We maintain a GDPR-compliant environment and use highly secure tools such as Tresorit for file storage and Apple for working space. Your information is encrypted, access-controlled, and handled according to strict confidentiality standards.

  • There is already a vast body of research on organizational effectiveness, team dynamics, and workplace behavior, but much of it isn't easy for leaders to access or apply. Influential researchers like Edgar Schein (organizational culture), Amy Edmondson (psychological safety), and Richard Hackman (team effectiveness) have shown how important structure, trust, and environment are to performance.

Here, we translate this deep academic knowledge into practical, actionable strategies for your specific business.

  • Not directly - but we can connect you. While our work focuses on organizational and workforce strategy, we maintain a strong network of consultants in areas like talent acquisition, compensation, and learning & development. If you need help beyond our scope, we’re happy to make trusted referrals.

  • Broken systems often show up as silos, duplicate efforts, slow decision-making, unclear accountability, or disengaged employees. Internal disconnects happen when strategy, structure, or communication don’t align - causing frustration and wasted energy. Bottlenecks are points where work slows down because too much depends on too few people, unclear processes, or outdated tools.

If you're curious whether this is happening in your organization, I have a free, online survey available. This tool is designed to give you a directional sense of potential issues. (Note: It’s not a replacement for a full diagnostic assessment, which we can provide.)

  • Yes - we don’t disappear after the strategy deck! We provide detailed, actionable plans and are available to support implementation when needed. Every engagement includes 30 days of follow-up support for questions, small changes, or check-ins. Anything larger than that or longer-term support is available at our standard hourly rate.
