FAQs

  • It depends on what you need. Some clients engage us for light consultations, typically 2 to 5 hours of strategic guidance or feedback on a specific issue. Others bring us in for focused deliverables - like a Social Network Analysis or Strategic Planning Workshop - which usually take 1 to 3 weeks to complete. Full-scale engagements, such as organizational design, target operating models, or employee listening architecture, typically run 6 to 10 weeks and follow a structured process from discovery through delivery. If you’re not sure what format fits best, we’ll talk it through and design an approach that works for you.

  • You'll always receive a tailored proposal before anything begins — activities, hours, deliverables. Any third-party costs (survey platforms, analytics tools, etc.) are passed through at cost.

    • Advisory & Consultations. Strategic guidance, thought partnership, or feedback on a specific challenge. Consultations are billed hourly at $350–$500, depending on the depth of work and your organization type (VC-backed to enterprise) with nonprofits at a steep discount.

    • Workshops & Executive Sessions. Half- and full-day sessions, offsites, and executive education engagements. Priced as a flat project fee based on design and delivery complexity.

    • Full-time Summer Intensives. Org design, tech implementations, M&A, and other transformation support. Fixed-fee, contract-based, scoped week by week so you always know what's coming.

  • We work with organizations of all sizes. We've partnered closely with small wealth management teams or nonprofit boards that have just 3–5 people. We also have experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives for Fortune 500 companies. What matters most is that we’re working with decision-makers who are ready to drive change.

  • Yes! We used to say we don't recommend specific tools, but that's not quite right anymore. There’s a lot of noise in the AI vendor space. Over time we’ve built relationships with a small group of vendors we actually trust, and part of what we offer is helping you figure out which type of solution fits your situation — and connecting you to the right people.

The vendors we work with cover a few distinct use cases:

    • AI strategy through implementation — for organizations that need someone to take them from "we know we should be doing something with AI" all the way through adoption and change management, not just hand over a roadmap and leave.

    • Enterprise AI deployment — for larger organizations that need to get custom AI solutions (think intelligent automation, internal knowledge tools, or customer-facing agents) into production faster than a DIY build would allow.

    • Sales team coaching and readiness — for teams that want to use AI to practice real conversations, get rep-level feedback at scale, and cut down the time it takes new hires to perform consistently.

    • Autonomous IT support — for organizations losing productivity to the IT ticket queue; an AI agent that resolves common employee issues in real time, without a human in the loop.

If none of those fit exactly what you're solving for, we'll tell you that too. The goal is the right match, not a referral for its own sake.

  • Everyone wants a little AI magic right now. There’s a lot to be excited about! But we're not here to sell you on a tool that promises to cut $X million in costs. We'd rather spend that time actually listening to you.

Every engagement starts with a strategy conversation — your challenges, your goals, your team's reality. From there, we identify opportunities for AI and organizational change that help you grow, scale, and do more with what you already have. Sometimes that's a targeted workflow change. Sometimes it's a bigger shift in how your team is structured or how decisions get made. Either way, it's designed around you, not reverse-engineered from a vendor pitch.

We also draw on a trusted network of researchers, data scientists, and domain experts who help us interpret what the data actually means in practice.

  • Carefully. We maintain a GDPR-compliant environment and use tools built for security — Tresorit for file storage, Apple for our working environment. Your data is encrypted, access-controlled, and handled under strict confidentiality standards. We treat your information the way we'd want our own handled.

  • Yes - we don’t disappear after the strategy deck! We provide detailed, actionable plans and are available to support implementation when needed. Every engagement includes 30 days of follow-up support for questions, small changes, or check-ins. Anything larger than that or longer-term support is available at our standard hourly rate.
